Dr. Dawn M. Downs

Dr. Downs is a graduate of The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine here in Champaign-Urbana. Prior to this, she obtained a degree in Zoology from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.

Dr. Downs practiced at Stateline Hillcrest Animal Hospital in Danville, and Tri City Animal Hospital in Elgin, Illinois before becoming the owner and senior veterinarian at Curtis Road Animal Hospital in Savoy in March of 2003.

Dr. Downs has a high degree of interest in:

• Hamsters and rats
• Rabbits

Dr. Kyla J. Kuhns

Dr. Kyla Kuhns graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2004 with highest honors. In addition to canine and feline medicine, she also has a professional interest in reptile and small mammal (ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, etc...) medicine. Dr. Kuhns works part time at the clinic and spends the rest of the week enjoying her new role as mommy. She lives in Urbana with her husband, son, 2 dogs, 4 snakes, 3 lizards, and a fish.

Dr. Kuhns joined the staff at Curtis Road Animal Hospital in February of 2005.
